Tanzania has one of the most vibrant mobile money ecosystems on the continent — and one of the fastest-growing card markets in East Africa. Yet ambitious merchants still piece together fragmented integrations, duplicate KYC, and manual reconciliations.
Luna Techwas founded to change that. We’re building a single platform that unifies TZS mobile money, domestic bank transfers and international card acceptance — wrapped in the anti-fraud, AML/KYC and reporting controls expected of a tier-one payment service provider.

We are simultaneously preparing for PCI DSS Level 1 attestation and aligning our operations against the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act 2022 and applicable AML/CFT obligations.
